Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

Great venue. Many steps. Prices are on the high side. If your waiting in line to get in and need a bathroom use the hotel across the street. They offer the public bathroom downstairs as a public bathroom and it's very clean. (It's very dark inside as it is all done in black time and fixtures.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor Electrifies Webster Hall, But Staff Service Needs a Major Cleanup! I recently attended the Sophie Ellis-Bextor concert at Webster Hall, and the night was a stunning mix of an amazing performance and deeply frustrating customer service. Musically, the evening was flawless. Sophie herself was absolutely incredible, delivering an unforgettable set that proved her status as a dance-pop icon. Beyond the artist, Webster Hall proved to be a magnificent physical space for live music. The acoustics were truly excellent—crisp, balanced, and perfectly tuned for the performance. The lighting was professional, complementing the show beautifully. Furthermore, the venue was impressively well-kept and clean, showcasing good upkeep of this hall. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the physical integrity and atmosphere of this historic venue. Unfortunately, the staff significantly detracted from the experience. From entry to exit, the attitude from security and venue employees was consistently nasty and condescending. Patrons, who are paying customers, were treated more like unruly children than adults enjoying a night out. This unprofessional demeanor created a truly unwelcome and cold atmosphere that undermined the joy of the concert itself. While I would highly recommend seeing any artist perform at Webster Hall based on its superb sound quality, management needs to urgently address the tone and training of its staff. It's a shame that such a fantastic venue and an amazing performance by Sophie Ellis-Bextor were soured by poor service from people who clearly hate their jobs.
this venue may be technically “accessible” but it is in no way accommodating to people with disabilities. I attended a sold out concert and the “ADA section” was just a part of the ballroom roped off with some folding chairs. it wasn’t even in the front near the stage so we basically couldn’t see the stage and sit at the same time because of people standing all around the barricade. they also just simply did not have enough folding chairs for all of the people that needed to use the accessible section. it’s ridiculous that I would have to pay extra to have both a seat and be able to see the stage at the show I’ve already paid to see, but apparently the idea that disabled people attend concerts and might actually want to enjoy themselves is a novel one to webster hall. if you’re disabled and want to attend a show here, you’ll need to shell out for the balcony or don’t bother
Nice intimate venue. Went for New Yorker Festival and enjoyed it a lot. Balcony area was very nice with great view.
I’ve been there twice already and every time very cool concerts, the atmosphere due to the play of light is delightful
