LOVED our experience here! The theatre is beautiful and very well kept. We got box seats and it was the best decision. It was nice to have the area all to ourselves. Food and drinks were a bit steep but that should be expected in a theatre. The show itself was amazing and there were so many parts where we wondered how they pulled it off. Staff were helpful and very well organized.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first Broadway performance as a family at the Lyric Theater! Harry Potter and Cursed Child was an excellent story! Our thirteen and nine year old boys had a fantastic time both being huge Harry Potter fans!
I loved this place! The theater was beautiful, clean, and well-decorated — a great setting for a magical night out. We were seated on the second floor, and overall it was a great experience. The only challenge was that I’m 5'1", and a tall woman with big, puffy hair sat in front of me, which made it hard to see the stage at times. As for the show, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was a unique and creative adaptation. While the main characters were a bit different from what I expected — which is understandable in a play — it was still a memorable experience. The effects were absolutely awesome and honestly exceeded my expectations. I was really impressed by the staging and visuals. Although the play felt a bit long in parts and lacked some of the high-paced action I’m used to, the incredible effects and overall production quality made up for it. I’m also so thankful for the amazing staff — everyone was kind, helpful, and welcoming. I’m definitely coming back for another show. Congrats to the entire cast and crew for bringing the magic to life!
This was the first Broadway show I went to and it did not disappoint. It absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. Especially the special effects and the magic. It was all so well done that it didn't distract from the play at all. It's a Harry potter show so I am glad they put so much effort into the magic. The story itself was a very good coming of age story that had a nice ending. The actors were all fantastic and played their parts really well. The venue itself was clean and comfortable. This was an extremely good show and any fans of Harry Potter should give this a watch at least once.
Beautiful theater. Easy in and easy out. I was impressed with how well the theater is maintained. We saw Harry Potter here. The special effects were amazing. I would recommend the show just for the special effects. It helps to have some knowledge of the Harry Potter storyline before going to the show or you will be confused. This is a play and not a musical.
