In June of 2019, after many years of not going out to see live music, we found this amazing place. That first show was Edgar Winter and in the six years since we have been vey lucky to see so many artists perform, most have been major acts that we only dreamed of seeing live. The Tupelo Music Hall has become a second home, Scott and his amazing crew are like seeing old friends. Always a friendly greeting at the door you feel safe and secure that you're about to have an excellent evening of live music. A great bar selection and yummy food from appetizers to main entrees makes the night complete. A small intimate room that can hold 700 fans, it has been designed with the best acoustics so every seat is live sitting at the sound board. We became members in 2022 to enjoy the advance ticket notices and purchase opportunity, we go to about 25 shows a year. Sometimes three shows in one week. There something for everyone booked every year from classic rock, country, jazz, blues, metal, comedy & dinner theatre. The major artists I've talked to all say the Tupelo is one of the best venues to play at and return year after year because of it, they feel appreciated and well taken care of by the staff - just as the patrons are. If you have been to the Tupelo and love a live event, this is the best in NH (and voted as such year after year). Check their web site which is the easiest (and only) secure ticket portal to score your seats.
The Tupelo Music Hall in Derry, NH is a fantastic venue. The place is absolutely gorgeous — clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized so there isn’t a bad seat anywhere. The sound quality is top-notch, and the acoustics make every performance feel personal and powerful. There’s plenty of parking, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in. I saw Big Country play there recently, and they sounded incredible — easily one of the best live shows I’ve seen in years. If you get the chance to see a band here, don’t hesitate. Tupelo Music Hall is one of New Hampshire’s true gems.
Tupelo is a great place to see a concert. It was built as a music hall so the sound is great. Get there early for the food and drinks before the show starts! It's all good and my children recommend the Love me Tenders. I enjoyed the Sweet Child of Mine grilled chicken sandwich!
I follow Best Not Broken which is nice pop music. I would follow them anywhere. However, David Cook from American Idol #8 was the star of the show. I thoroughly enjoyed the opening act of Best Not Broken. I did not enjoy David Cook and ended up leaving before he was through. He kept playing with his guitar strings, tightening them up and his mouth was too close to the microphone so it was very muffled. We had a seat in the handicap section. It was on the floor to stage left but there was some kind of black iron kind of fence in front of where we were. Those tickets were $45 each. I have to say I was a little disappointed in this show except for Best Not Broken. I really wish they would be the star of the show. I could listen to them. They are fun, interesting and friendly.
The sound is great and the seating is decent but this place is lacking when it books acts. This one exception we happened to catch Ozomatli, but the other performers that have come through are a bit boring and out dated. This place would be great if they would find some other styles of music to showcase. Open it up to other bands. The lobby and bar area is pretty good to grab some food and drinks. Merch area sucks because it’s so close to the doorway to go into the seating area. Overall it’s not a bad spot but the acts could use some updating.
