Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

Not only did we have electrical problems with the guest headset, but the replacement hand held microphone also quite working. Then about 10-15 minutes in to the show the auditorium caught fire. Sparks shooting up the wall, flames flaring on the ramp. No smoke detectors went off, no staff came running with fire extinguishers! The seating aisles were narrow, chairs were uncomfortable. The only good thing I'd say was during the fire issue we could go smoke on the balcony. There were people that had snacks and drinks but I couldn't tell you were they got them since there wasn't any signs or staff telling people. They should invest in more handicap parking as well.
Nice venue for smaller shows at the DECC. Easy parking, no stairs if accessed from north doors. Sound quality has been very good for the performances I have attended.
Teresa Caputo Experience here was amazing! There was some technical issues I believe with the power in the building but within minutes it was resolved and the show was excellent. Staff and security were very friendly. Sorry no photos. None allowed for the show
The DSSO performance of Star Wars: A New Hope was amazing. The live music brought back all the nostalgia and made the movie feel even more epic. A perfect mix of great music and classic Star Wars!
Street signs to direct you there were great, not so much once there and inside. Parking was expensive for a 2 hour event. Drinks were also very expensive. It appeared to be WELL staffed so perhaps the reason. Lol Nicely located next to the freeway for less exiting congestion.
