The Yucaipa Performing Arts Center Indoor Theatre stands as a cultural cornerstone in this charming San Bernardino County community, offering an intimate setting for diverse theatrical productions. This versatile venue welcomes audiences to everything from family-friendly shows and children's theater to comedy performances and full-scale musicals, creating a space where the entire community can gather to experience live entertainment together.
The indoor theater provides a cozy, focused environment where every seat offers a connection to the performers on stage. The intimate scale means audiences become part of the show's energy, whether they're laughing along with a comedy act, singing with a musical, or watching wide-eyed children discover the magic of live theater. The venue's commitment to programming across age groups creates a warm, inclusive atmosphere that makes first-time theatergoers and seasoned arts lovers equally welcome.
Nestled in Yucaipa's peaceful residential landscape with the San Bernardino Mountains as a backdrop, the performing arts center serves as a cultural hub for this close-knit community. The venue draws audiences from across the Inland Empire who appreciate quality entertainment in a more personal setting than larger metropolitan theaters. Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

The outdoor amphitheater has potential, but is very poorly designed. There several light poles blocking the view. One is center stage which obscured my view at last night’s concert. Plus it is barely sloped so everyone has to stand up the entire time to see anything. Not fun. Why there are seats behind the mixing consoles is beyond me. Plus Ticketmaster did not indicate the blocked view. Between tall people in front of me and the pole, I could barely see the stage. Take the poles out YPAC or don’t have concerts there.
First time at.this venue. The weather was perfect! The seating superb, and the band sounded pristine!
We saw the Snow White Ballet. It was our first time at this venue. We were greeted so kindly by all the staff. The venue itself is very nice, not a lot of leg room but the seats are very comfortable. It seems every seat is a good seat. And the sound quality is premium. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
I have seen Joseph 8 times and this one and the one at Redlands Bowl are by far ever(same cast) could be why. the best I have seen. All performers put all their energy and talent into their performance. Loved it loved it loved it!
This was an unbelievable venue, being fresh and clean and new, with amazing architecture, and capable of holding just the right amount of people for a perfect-sized audience for the classic rock, tribute band ROCK AND ROLL BAND, that we saw! I would go there any time! It also was my first time visiting Yucaipa, which is a great little treasure of a town! Glenn Russell
