This 21 and over venue is the place to see some of the best new and established local, regional national and international music artists in a smaller setting. Forty 5 is a local boutique production company that also owns this venue, the recently added "Turntable" venue next store as well as The Tobias Theatre. Turntable features mainly newer artists in a more intimate 18 and over space. If you like exploring music you can't go wrong with a show at either of these spaces.
Great venue. Perfect place to get close to your favourite band
This venue is awful! The bartenders were great but a few people on security were literally the worst humans ever. One shined their light in my face cause I had a straw in my mouth and he thought I was vaping. Unbelievably rude. Then he came down and got in our faces and started yelling at us even after showing him the straws. Unacceptable behavior. Wish I could give this place zero stars. Will never go back
Venue itself is great..the security team is possibly the most thick skulled, poorly managed group of people I have ever encountered, I got “kicked out” of the venue because as i walked out to the “smoking section” to hit a vape (to follow Their rules and not do so Inside) I took a glass of ice water in my hands towards the door; the dude made me set the cup of water down insisting it might be alcohol, I obliged, but then as I came outside i was handed a bottle of water and directed to an area of 3-4 chairs (i was unaware these were the “time out” chairs) I did not “sit quietly and drink the water” in their chairs for long enough, turned out just 5 silent, obedient minutes was the time I needed to sit and drink water, had I done that I could have come back in…unfortunately I was not told any of these stipulations until I walked back into the venue…i was told “I had been asked to leave” (all of this because I didn’t sit and drink water for 5 minutes) If they had just told me I had to sit for 5 minutes like a good little boy or be kicked out, I likely would have obliged because I had already spent $500 for 3 nights of UMVIP and was missing the second set of the second night of my favorite band because I went outside to hit a vape and then didn’t sit in a chair with bottled water long enough. To make matters much worse Me and my dad were not allowed to use the tickets I bought for the after show at turntable because I had “ been asked to leave” when I tried to talk and reason with the first “manager” he pushed his scraggly beard into my nose and asked me to “do something about it” over and over again. Truly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a venue, especially one that I had supposedly paid for VIP at
It’s a small venue with good sound. It gets insanely packed though and most of the “seating” is standing room only
