The Bluestone stands as Columbus's intimate haven for live music, where the warm glow of stage lights meets the raw energy of emerging and established artists. Despite its jazz-rooted name, this versatile venue has evolved into a beloved destination for an eclectic mix of performances, from indie rock and alternative acts to country folk storytellers and hard-hitting metal bands. The club's commitment to showcasing diverse musical genres has made it a cornerstone of Columbus's vibrant music scene.
Step inside and you'll find yourself in a space that perfectly balances intimacy with energy. The venue's compact layout ensures there's no bad spot in the house, creating an electric connection between performers and audience that larger halls simply can't match. The acoustics are crisp and clear, allowing every guitar riff and vocal nuance to reach your ears with stunning clarity. Whether you're pressed against the stage or leaning against the back wall, you'll feel like part of the show rather than just watching it.
Nestled in the heart of Columbus, The Bluestone sits within the city's thriving arts and entertainment district, surrounded by galleries, restaurants, and late-night spots that keep the creative energy flowing well past last call. The neighborhood pulses with the kind of artistic spirit that draws music lovers from across Ohio and beyond, creating a pre-show atmosphere that's as exciting as the performances themselves.

We had our wedding reception at the Bluestone and it was perfect! The staff was amazing and helped our day be just as we envisioned it! We have gotten so many compliments on the food, which is made in house. It felt very stress free because you have a day of coordination who makes sure that everything is set up and run how you want it to be. It was the perfect venue to have a band for a wedding. It was truly the best day with all the help of the Bluestone staff!
This is probably one of the nicest and coolest venues I have ever seen! It was gorgeous inside. The AC kept the building well cooled all night, really neat decorations, the bathrooms were SO nice and clean, security was super fast. I am looking for other concerts at the Bluestone just so I can come back here!
Such a unique venue for concerts. The stained glass is amazing! Take a trip up to the second floor balcony for great views of the bands! The second floor houses the restrooms, multiple bars, and often the souvenirs of the bands playing. There is plenty of parking close by and the event parking has always been fairly priced. We plan to come back anytime our favorite bands are on stage.
Outstanding music venue in Columbus! So much character! Two levels, pit downstairs with seats and counter around the back and upstairs standing room on both sides and the back. Plenty of bar areas and restrooms.
Very neat venue for concerts (converted old church to concert hall)...we saw Anna Tivel and The Water Boys. The acoustics were real good, they had refreshments and plenty of security. Parking was in back and ok, typical city parking $20.
