Saw Jimmy Carr here and it's a lovely historic place to watch an event. But it lost a star from me for 2 times.....1. .the sound system wasn't that great. Not sure why but the sound was very flat and occasionally it was hard to pick out certain words. 2. The seats in the second balcony were so upright and felt uncomfortable. Otherwise you still felt close to the action on the stage and the process of getting in and out was easy.
Beautiful theater, easy to get in and feel nd my seat. The CAPA staff were friendly and helpful. I did have difficulty finding the concession area as it is located in the lobby. I didn't notice it as I was focused on showing/scanning my ticket to get into the venue. Seats were comfortable and the size of the theater makes it hard to have a bad seat. The sound was good as well!
An intimate concert experience. I absolutely love how beautiful and immaculate the architecture is. The seating is tight, but it was a great view where we sat. Parking garage was right across the street for easy access. I would go here again with no hesitation. There are a lot of great places in the area to eat and see too.
Beautiful old theater. Not the most comfortable seats, but being small enough, the views are good feom pretry mcuh anywhere. The balcony is steep and getting in is a hoot - and barely up to code. You have to be there. The venue hosts big acts you can catch up close, and the experience is worth it all.
Sound way up was a little low. But the theatre, the staff, the drinks, all amazing. Jimmy Carr, a great act to have!
