Easily the best jazz performance space in West Coast. Lots of good bars and restrooms and seating is very comfortable.
This is a great jazz venue. The Miner Auditorium was purpose-built for excellent acoustics and not a bad seat in the house. SF Jazz is one of the many venues in San Francisco that makes it a great music city.
I just attended my first event at SF Jazz to see Chris Botti perform, and it was an incredible experience. The venue is small and intimate, with a beautiful setup that allows you to clearly see the performers no matter where you sit. The seating design is excellent—elevated tiers ensure great views, beyond the floor seating with chairs. Before the event, you can enjoy wine, cocktails, and sodas upstairs and small bites in the lobby area, and you’re allowed to bring your drinks in plastic cups into the performance. The atmosphere was fantastic, and transportation was easy—getting an Uber or Lyft to and from the venue was seamless. Parking can be challenging in that area at night. We had such a great time and will definitely return for another performance soon!
Great impressions! It is a very popular place for jazz lovers of all ages. We were in small hall and listened blues . It was amazing. Sound is great and fantastic aura were during the whole event. Strongly recommend !
SFJAZZ is a great place to see music shows. The hall is a great for small venues. You will definitely have a good seat for any show that comes around. The auditorium is good for large shows with that family feeling. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
