Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

Kind of a dump, but it books great music, and there is ample parking around the venue (for a price). Great sound, but you can’t get to the balcony unless you pay for the preferred seating. If you buy the basic tickets, plan on arriving early to find a good part of the wall to lean on for the next few hours.
Yeah, just saw a comment that said this place is a dump. I’m not gonna lie but a little. Cool aesthetic, like it’s in an old industrial building, but besides that, I’ve been to better venues. As for my show, vocal audio was rough. I could not hear words cleanly and no, the performer was not Scottish or disabled in a capacity that affects annunciation. I wish that the floor was sloped at least one inch because back of the standing crowd was rough to see.
Unorganized venue.. , where the line starts to wait to get in is confusing and they were late with it. When asked for water at the barricade because there was moshing and everyone was squished and hot. We were denied by their security and told we had to go all the way in the back and get some from the bar.. how is that possible when we are all squished?!. Photography people started handing out their waters because ppl were passing out!!!. Why are they doing security’s job?!???This hall has the worst security possible and slow minded security. Make em do some general knowledge questions before they get their job because obviously they don’t know nothing!!! Slow… smh. They don’t care about their guests and customers. If it wasn’t for the goated photographers. More of us would’ve passed out. This hall needs to be more prepared for the people they bring in their and need to pay attention to what artist they bring in and their audience. I never wanna come to this hall again and I’ve had my fair share of mosh pits , GA and concerts. Never experienced anything like this. Horrible!!! Lady at the front desk was nice tho :) shout out to the photographers at lil Teccas show. On 9/26/25
We’ve seen a few shows at Franklin Music Hall over the years, the last one being in 2019 for a sold out Menzingers show. The sound was terrible and security was awful, so we swore we’d never come back. Fast forward to this weekend when some of our favorite bands, The Story So Far, Neck Deep, and Origami Angel, were playing an outdoor show. We figured, how bad could it be outside? Turns out, pretty bad. When we walked through security, the scanner turned red for both me and my husband, and security just waved us right through without checking anything. We knew it was the phones we had in our hands. Though, who would know if it was a weapon? Not exactly comforting. We got to the lot where the show was and were instantly unimpressed. The sound for the opener, Pain of Truth, was pretty quiet. We assumed it was just an opener thing, but the sound was terrible the whole night. You could hear people talking over the music, and it was hard to even understand the artist’s banter between songs. During Origami Angel the crowd started a “We can’t hear you” chant, which was probably the loudest thing I heard all night. It was reported that more than 20 people had their phones stolen during the show, once again proving how terrible security is. Overall, really disappointing. We won’t be back. For real this time. But congrats to the couple who got engaged and this guys hat was fun.
His place was huge, and sounded incredibly good. Viagra Boys and Die Spitz both had great performances! So glad we came!
