Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

First time at this venue and I was thoroughly impressed. Came here to see Damned Yankees. The performance was outstanding. The building was beautiful and modern. Nice concession stand, though prices are a bit high. Lived that theyre really environmentally conscious, with their use of the reuseable R-cups. Seats were comfortable. The theater is not too big and allows for an intimate experience.Great facilities overall.
Arena stage is a great venue in Washington DC for plays. Attended 'Fremont Ave' ...a very bold and daring play. Very little left to the imagination for sure - several actors were in very good shape and muscular as an example of a visual. Music selections were awesome -- ready to party across generations. Use of some language was offensive, overly repetitive and could be toned down without loss of the storyline. Will probably see it again
Saw "Fake It Until You Make It". It was a fantastic show. Make sure to check your assistive listening device before the show. My headset was broken (either full of static, not working at all, or catching the wrong sounds [stomps or props, instead of voices]). The venue was very clean and the workers were very respectful and helpful .
Saw a wonderful production of Damn Yankees there last weekend. Arena is a first class organization. The parking garage is a nightmare--very low ceiling, not much room to maneuver. Getting down the ramp to get into the garage is treacherous--a seriously difficult turn to navigate. Most cars I saw struggled to negotiate that turn. If you have to drive, take a small car. No kidding, how did that garage pass code?
A worthwhile experience! In a society that’s so preoccupied by screens (phones, tablets, tvs, etc), it’s an invaluable opportunity to bask in the sheer joy of theater. It builds community, even if only for the run time of the show. You will leave better than when you came in.
