Had an excellent tour of the theatre. Our guide (Colin?) was fantastic from start to finish. We were lucky that no production was playing, so we were able to see back stage and stand on stage.
When I heard that The Boyz was coming to this venue I was really excited. It is absolutely gorgeous, the architecture is dazzling and the red and gold colors give a wonderful feeling of true appreciation for the arts. I could have spent a great deal of time just looking around inside the venue, the bottom floor also had pictures and a walk down memory lane of other significant artists who had lit the Chicaho Theatre in the past. The staff were alright, not very friendly but efficient. It's all about the venue which speaks for itself with style and flair and continues to contribute to its passion of artists who play in its hall.
I went to the Chicago Theatre to watch Zakir Khan’s live show and it was an unforgettable experience! The theatre is absolutely stunning, with its classic architecture, grand interiors, and historic charm that add so much to the atmosphere. Everything was very well organized – from the entry to the seating – and the staff was helpful and efficient. The seating was comfortable with a great view of the stage, and the energy of the crowd made the evening even more special. Watching a live performance in such an iconic venue made the whole experience truly memorable. Highly recommend visiting the Chicago Theatre if you get a chance to see a show here.
This place is absolute history! It's beautiful to see all the architectures throughout the building. The only thing about this place is the bathrooms are hard to get to in the basement and just like every other location. It's hard to get drinks or snacks.
