Nice and classy theater! Gender neutral bathrooms, clean, no musty old carpet smell, modern enough but classy. Interior design and lights are very nice. Acoustics work well. Nice staff and security. You have to go through metal detectors, they look through all bags, you can’t bring even a tiny Swiss Army knife so keep anything sharp at home. They will confiscate any sharp metal objects and keep it safe until the end of the show and they will return it. Oh and the seats aren’t vinyl as I would like bc it’s easy to clean but they are cloth and comfortable and plush.
This is a beautiful and historic venue close to Michigan Avenue. I have been to a couple of concerts here and both times have really enjoyed the atmosphere and the acoustics . The staff are super efficient, particularly staff at the main entrance conducting security checks. We went to see Gary Numan and The Psychedelic Furs on a Saturday night. We arrived just 15 minutes before the show was about to start but were able to find plenty of parking on the surface lot around the corner from the Theatre . For this concert, we were in box 22 . I loved the convenience of being able to order a drink to be delivered straight from the QR code and it was really comfortable and fun with plenty of space to dance. The box only accommodates four people, and luckily the other two people were really friendly and fun . It was a great view of the stage, and I did not miss being down in the pit. There are plenty of bathrooms and once the show was over, the Theatre emptied very quickly, and we were back in the car within minutes . I would love to see this Theatre in the daylight just to check out some of the Beautiful historic and architectural details !
So beautiful and fun! We recently attended a Mariachi concert with Lupita Infante. The theatre's architecture, along with all its beautiful stories, are super nice and admirable! I'd never been, but aside from a few rowdy folks in this event's audience 🙄, it was such a great experience! I highly recommend visiting the theatre, admiring, and absorbing its beauty 💚🙏.
The Auditorium is absolutely beautiful. My daughter and I attended Nightmare before Christmas in concert and it was incredible. The staff were all very kind and helpful for us first timers, the orchestra was phenomenal, the bathrooms were clean and abundant so the line moved quickly, and the seats were decently comfortable. They do check your bags for anything dangerous and you have to walk through a metal detector to get in. I appreciate their attention to safety.
Auditorium Theatre is an amazing venue and our visit for the Sting concert was truly memorable. The sound was clear, the view from the seats was excellent and the whole atmosphere felt special. The hall is beautiful and comfortable which makes the experience even better. There is a bar where you can grab a drink and you can even bring your beverage inside which is very convenient. Overall it is a wonderful place to enjoy live music and spend a great evening.
