Great venue. I have visited multiple times, it is where the Houston symphony performs. I usually would go to their movie performances where they play the soundtrack of a movie. But this time we went to the music of Elvis with an incredible live performer, Frankie Moreno. I truly enjoyed this experience as it was more interactive and fun! As I stated for the past performances I’ve been to this venue have been more formal, but it was nice to change up the mood of things a little. Would come back!
Everything we have seen so far has been so good. Seating is lovely and roomy. Went ahead and got season tickets. Price was great and parking is so easy. Excited for the season!!
We just went to the JAWS anniversary event and it was wonderful! The sound was great and the view from our seats all the way in the back was still very good! My only complaint was how hot it was. It felt like hardly any air circulation, so it was a bit stuffy. Definitely grab a program to fan yourself with, otherwise, a great experience.
Excellent venue. The staff was very friendly and engaging. Food and drink options are some of the best at a performing arts venue I have seen. Made to order pasta station?! Saw Killer Mike and the Mighty Midnight Revival along with the Houston Symphony performing most of the full "Michael" album, which earned him Rap Album of the Year. Love to see this combo of hip hop artist with symphonic backing is not a one-and-done but part of a regular series here at Jones Hall. Drove from DFW just for this show and wish I lived closer so I could see more.
I have attended several Houston Symphony concerts. Feb 22nd featured Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance! The acoustics in Jones Hall is consistently unmatched! The cosplayers and characters were such a nice touch to the show!
