Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

The Curran Theater was built in 1922 and more than a hundred years later…it’s still beaming with pride & beauty!! The second you step inside you feel the electricity and excitement! Seen The Jersey Boys and The Golden Girls lately and the theater hasn’t lost its touch. If anything it’s even more beautiful! Props to the ticketing people…they are as nice as can be! Me and my good friend had the best time ever!!! I cannot recommend this theater more even if I wanted to! 👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️
Shame on them for not having elevators. When you finally make it to the balcony the steps are of varying length and some way too short. 2 people tripped trying to walk down as they are very difficult to maneuver with. The worst part is there are no handrail so you are at your own risk. It is one of the older looking theaters in the city and I thought it would have been dramatically improved but it really has not been over the years. They really should consider using larger seats as these seats appear to be originals or very old and way too small. I saw a play that should have had 90% sold out and it was well below 50%. You cannot blame the show as it is one of the most nominated shows in history so you must blame the experience.
Beautiful old theater. I was impressed with it's beauty. The accustics were great. No bad seats. Handicapped seating is available. Lighting was done well.
Attended two different productions in the fast 2 months. Each time I simply could not get over how beautiful this theater is. Don't get the "lemonade". Too sweet. But other cocktails and drinks and snacks are available.
They don’t have a water fountain. They make you buy a 7 dollar water bottle in the a hot theater then they do not let you refill after emptying so you have to buy another. The theater itself is stunning with amazing attention to artistic detail and the musicals i have seen are worth the money and the trek.
