Saw Juliet at the theater. The venue is pretty cool too though a bit crowded. Also feels like the way they check tickets and get tickets could be optimized, though I don’t really mind it much. As for the play, it was spectacular. The set design was really cool. The acting and singing was really nice, and the vibes were awesome. Overall really enjoyable time.
The Orpheum is great! Easy to get to by public transportation, cab or car (Park across the street at the garage). The seats are in good shape: they fit plus size bodies and taller people. Extreme edge seats might have sightline issues. Sounds is good and food is allowed at the seats. It is mid- Market; just be aware of your surroundings (don't be walking and texting on your phone).
Omg the Orpheum Theatre is so pretty inside!! Just watched &Juliet. Lines were fast to get in. Workers were helpful in finding our seats. Inside was beautiful. We sat in the mezzanine. We were able to watch the play perfectly. We took BART which led us directly to the theater.
We love the Orpheum and come here a few times a year for Broadway shows. So far we’ve seen Hamilton (twice), Phantom of the Opera, Wicked and Les MIs. This guy sings opera just outside the venue and he definitely steals the show.
Old theater, could use some update. Can be a bit chaotic. There are restrooms upstairs too if you want to avoid the crowd on the first floor.
