Went to see Blue October. The theater is beautiful and the staff is so friendly! The smaller venue felt very intimate for a concert and the wait time in the merch line went fast even with the band signing shirts!
Ok so this was my first time coming here for a rock show. Came to see the band Kaleo! It was all theater seating, obviously, which took getting used to. The sound was solid though, and overall we quite enjoyed it. We got some seats in row 1 of the balcony sections, and it was nice to just sit and observe. My only complaint is the music between bands. Taft would crank the lights up, and play the same type of cheesy music they would for a play. Kind of shifted the mood. To the point where it took the band a good 10 minutes to get the crowd back to remembering they’re at a rock show.
The theater is beautiful, and walking in feels like a trip back in time. We had box seats, which were good, but maybe not ideal for a show with audience interaction. We couldn't see well when the performer was in the crowd, even with the screen on stage. For interactive shows, I'd recommend main floor seats. One thing to note: If you're in a box, seats 1-4 are not all together. The aisle splits seats 2 and 3, so our family was separated. This might be standard for box seats, but it was a surprise to us!
Great place to see a concert. Seats were comfortable with spacious room. I do recommend that they put up some better signage for where things are located like the food and restrooms. Also having some directions with ropes for the merchandise line would be helpful. There is definitely a good amount of restrooms and all were clean. I seen Eric Gales and Buddy Guy here and it was fantastic. The sound was phenomenal and seating was great.
The Brian Culbertson Concert on November 8, 2025. Awesome musicianship, showmanship and it was so much fun! Did not disappoint.
