Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

Have been to a few shows here over the years. We went to Purple Rain, and I remember how pretty this theatre is. It well maintained and they are trying to keep the original decor kept up. This is a bit smaller than the Orpheum, but I think it is good place to see a show. You can easily be half way way up the main floor and still see things really well. And the first 10-13 rows on the balcony are also pretty good. The acoustics are really good, and there is a lot of parking in and around (and not overpriced) as well as accessible via the Skyway! It is a nice, medium sized venue, well maintained. Not alot of fancy frills, but there are some basics for drinks and snacks. Since you probabaly just went out for dinner, you probably just need a little refreshment during the break 😉. I think the 'right-size' is a big plus for this place!
I went to see on of the Pre-Broadway Purple Rain shows here. My seats were in a weird place near the back of the theater with a column partially obstructing the view. The show was nice, but the theater was just average. I've been to some great old theaters and this one ne ds an upgrade.
I have been to this theater several times. Most recently for the inaugural showing of Purple Rain. It’s an older theater with small hallways and lots of stairs. Small bars upstairs and down. When the show is popular it’s impossible to get around. It is connected to the Capital Grille which is a plus
Cute older theatre. Saw Purple Rain there, and had a good time. However/ They have got to remedy the bathroom situation! Especially for the ladies rooms! Lines from the top floor all the way to the bottom floor! Very convenient to eat at Crave and walk over. Make reservations!
It's a gorgeous theater with beautiful acoustics but I've never attended anything here where I don't feel like im sitting on top of my neighbor. This is some incredibly cramped seating.
