Kiva Auditorium stands as one of Albuquerque's premier performing arts venues, hosting an impressive range of entertainment from classical ballet and jazz concerts to contemporary pop acts and comedy shows. Named after the traditional ceremonial chambers of Pueblo culture, the venue reflects the rich cultural heritage of New Mexico while serving as a modern hub for diverse artistic expression. Its programming spans the spectrum of performing arts, welcoming both touring Broadway productions and local dance companies, internationally acclaimed musicians and rising comedians.
The auditorium provides an intimate yet grand setting for performances, where audiences can experience the full impact of live entertainment in a space designed with both acoustics and sightlines in mind. Whether you're watching a ballet company's graceful movements or feeling the energy of a rock concert, the venue creates that special connection between performers and audience that only live theater can deliver. The atmosphere shifts beautifully with each type of performance, from the hushed reverence of a classical recital to the electric excitement of a comedy show.

It's an older auditorium downtown but the seats are comfortable and have a good view of the stage. While the underground parking is a bit of a walk, it's nice to not have to walk outside. Plus the walk is pretty secure with the staff and cameras that are in place.
Brit Floyd played absolutely wonderful things. Music for pink floyd tribute band. My mom forced the hospital to let her leave so she can make this concert. They wanted to admit her for her declining health. When in the wrong door the security just let us come in and walked us to the other door❤️ when to get a shirt, the lady was absolutely an angel period came back to get another shirt, and she had a special note from the band praising my mother. This is absolutely a special night.
I really saw a very small part of it. The entrance, up the escalator, to the left and the stage and seating. All clean, well lit areas as you exit to restrooms. Excellent acoustics. Scored good parking spot. All in all ,great experience.
I bought tickets for Eden Muñoz. The event got rescheduled twice already. If he can’t attend, just cancel the event. Holding everyone’s money for a year. It’s a joke. Poor service.
We saw Chicago in this very nice venue! Parking in the Convention Center Garage was easy but costs $20 (well worth it as your car is protected and security drives around inside). It's also a short walk to the Kiva Auditorium.
