Awesome place to listen to music! Staff was friendly, they let us in alittle early because of the rain, very organized! The sound was great! My only complaint is my husband went to the bar to buy a drink and wasn’t told anything about pricing, next thing you know he was charged $50 for two drinks (one margarita, one non alcoholic drink), they were good! Just wish they were more transparent with pricing from the start or at least told him the price before charging the credit card.
Loved the venue! The staff were so helpful (I asked a ton of questions) they answered everything I could ask, the building itself is so cool, and the layout rocks. From the balcony, you can see the whole stage. The stage is higher than other venues I've been to. I could see the whole stage even being 5'5" in standing GA.
Really nice venue. This was my first time to see a band here. The staff were very friendly and helpful with my daughter who uses a wheelchair. Little pricey for drinks.
Jose, the manager and his staff were absolutely amazing to me with my ADA issues for the recent Marianas Trench concert! I’ve never been treated so well. The security, dining, management, and Sophia and Priscilla, our servers were all the best if the best in customer service! Even the kitchen was great. My group of 4 had the time of our life and felt we were given the most amazing customer service and I am raving about Jose! His kindness and fun spirit to help in our celebration just went way above anything I’ve experienced. The bands were fantastic! Of course, we came for Marianas Trench and knew they would ROCK, but the 2 other opening bands, senses and the Summer Set, were also wonderful! Best experience ever! Try the House of Blues Dallas and if you were ever concerned about disabilities or accommodations, just ask for Jose! You won’t be disappointed!
First time at HOB and was not disappointed. It wasn't perfect, but overall happy with the experience. Pros: Very cool aesthetics, the venue felt up close and personal with the artist and you can see from mostly anywhere. The security process was lengthy, which I appreciate. Since it's a small venue with lots of people, it def requires thorough security check points especially in Dallas. Great crowd control and restroom lines weren't long at all Cons: Overpriced than most music venues. The bass was great, but could use better speakers it sounded busted from Balcony C109 and C110. Also, it's worth noting if it's your first time that the balconies left and right have slightly obstructed views compared to the middle balcony. There were tables in front of them that were grayed out when we purchased the tickets.
