Caught the Australian Pink Floyd show at the Winspear Opera House and I was absolutely blown away. The lights and laser show were stunning — perfectly synced with the music and every bit as epic as you’d hope from a Pink Floyd tribute. It was visually mesmerizing from start to finish. What really put the night over the top was the acoustics in the Winspear. Every note was crystal clear, and the sound seemed to wrap around you without being overpowering. You can tell this space was built with sound quality in mind — it’s honestly my new favorite place for concerts. The venue itself is beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly well run. If you get the chance to see a show here — especially one as immersive as Australian Pink Floyd — don’t miss it!
Winspear provides an incredible experience every time we visit. It’s awesome building inside and out. Being nestled downtown, the architectural experience alone is worth walking around ***Get to your seats early so you can see them pull up the lights to the ceiling. Way cool! Addams Family was one of the most clever and funny musicals I’ve ever seen.
Amazing performance, I truly enjoyed it although I had bad seats. It was sort of hot but manageable. The live music was amazing and I could see the hard work that went into the performance.
This is a great venue. The seats were spacious and pretty comfortable. The sound was great and I am not sure there is a bad seat when looking at the stage. I will definitely go to more events here.
The Winspear Opera House is such a beautiful and well-designed building! Our church sometimes holds services here, and every time I walk in, I’m amazed by the atmosphere. The space feels welcoming, elegant, and full of light, which makes it perfect for worship and gathering together. I love when our services are held here—it always feels special and uplifting. The staff is also kind and professional, and the facility is always well kept. Truly a wonderful place for both the arts and for community events!
