Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

First time at this venue and loved the show and the theater. Historic and beautiful. I wish they had a better realistic view of seating; as our seat view was blocked by large speakers. Luckily the comedians worked at the front of the stage. We had no view of the musician proving the related music for certain scenes. Overall, I would still give the Brown Theater a 9.5 out of 10. Every Brown theater employee was nice, helpful, and looked as they enjoyed their job. Thank you to Brown Management, Staff, and the cast of the "Whose Line Is It Anyway" for a great night.
This is a beautifully restored venue, even the back row seats offer a perfect view and are enjoyable. The ambiance make this a great venue to see a show. The only knock I have is the tight seats in the balcony. The acoustics are great. The staff are all acommidating. It's second only to The Palace, in terms of architectural beauty of theaters in Louisville. The only time it felt crowded was upon exiting. It had been about a decade since I last visited, but would definitely recommend to others and plan to come back.
Theater is in needs a serious staff overhaul. And maybe sone signs. Majority of employees were at best negligent and to worse rude/pushy. Multiple employees staring at their phone and ignoring guests. Watched one seating guide ignore several groups of people to keep watching show, only turning around to look at them and offering no assistance despite them clearly (and loudly) needing help. Had to run to car for item and staff refused to let me get seated despite still sitting other guest and the show not being started. They lied to my sister and told her I would be seated with her when I came back. We're curt and unhelpful to me when I asked a clarifying question. Building is also confusing to enter from parking garage and needs better guides. Shout out to the parking garage attendant who was nice and the security guy who wasn't rude. All other staff need some serious review. Please note this review only pertains to the premise and its staff, not the preformance.
An outstanding venue to see any concert or show. Truly not a bad seat in the house and the sound system is fantastic. Service is great. Lines at the bathrooms can be a little long, but if it's a show you want to see it's worth waiting.
Wonderful experience two seats in 2nd row. Beautife building. Great show, two smaller comedians.
