An amazing stage, I went here with family to watch Hamilton. It had an amazing set and very nice clean area. Parking was simple as well and workers were extremely nice! I would definitely recommend this place to others, it’s a very nice structure and well organized, easy to find your way around.
Orchestra seats for the band Chicago, and I got a guitar pick from Tony Obrohta. The concession stand was dead center on the main floor, and woefully small, with long lines and $4 bottles of water. The women had three bathrooms, while the men had one with a line down the hall. There were no trash cans readily available near the exits from the theater, so you had to wait till you got to a building exit before you could discard your trash, and no bags or carry trays from the overpriced concession stand, so there was that.
Always have a good time when we visit the Wharton Center. The seats could have a little bit now room to them, especially for a really tall husband. He usually doesn't have any room for his legs. We usually try to pick an aisle seat whenever possible. Parking is usually pretty easy too.
I attended a recent performance of 'Hamilton' at Cobb Great Hall. Entry into the venue was quick and easy using the e-ticket saved to my phone. There were plenty of staff members around to direct patrons to their seats. There were also numerous free or inexpensive parking lots (flat lots and structures) within walking distance of the venue. Overall, it was a good experience. I would return in the future.
A wonderful performance space. There is definitely an acoustic advantage for speech on the ground floor. Things get a bit muddy up in the balcony, but for some kinds of music that makes it extra rich. I've been to several performances here and for drama is worth paying the extra money to have orchestra seats, but there are no bad seats for viewing as far as I can see. I look forward to my next visit.
