I had a wonderful experience while attending the Complexions show on July 13th. Parking across the street was easy and affordable ($7), and I was warmly welcomed by staff upon arrival. The lobby is beautiful with lots of gorgeois detail, the restrooms were clean, and the venue itself is stunning, there truly isn’t a bad seat in the house. I sat in Row O, which had a bit of extra legroom. The show was phenomenal from start to finish—the dancers were incredibly talented and captivating. While I had a minor issue with parking validation, the staff was helpful and advised me to follow up for a possible refund which I am still waiting to hear back from. Overall, a fantastic night—I’m looking forward to returning for more performances!
Great acoustics, lighting & sound system. It's not your magnificent theater architecture that you'll find in larger cities, but the energy & ambience of the artists & the great folks that run the space ensures a very nice experience! I always enjoy myself at the Lensic & take my students. A vast array of artistry that rivals large cities.
This is a cool theater. If you see something you like, and it is playing or going on here, you should go. The acoustics are incredible. The only reason I only gave 4 stars was because of ticket shenanigans. We were going to wee our daughter perform. We got seats in the Mezzanine so we had an elevated view and would not be blocked. When we got there, we were told the Mazzanine was closed and we had to choose seats, from what was left. This was a problem, because a lot of those were up close, were we would break our necks looking up at nothing. The staff was INCREDIBLY kind and dealt with our frustration. The woman behind the counter spent some time and found us the best seats she could get us. They were food, not great, but she did what she could. Whomever decided to close the Mezzanine did us dirty, and left it for other staff to fix.
Such a beautiful theatre, inside and out. Hosting a wide range of performances. I've really enjoyed each show I've seen there.
My first time to this venue was to see Dope Lemon with my loved ones. Absolutely stunning place to experience a live show. The staff were SO friendly and SO helpful. The Lensic is so beautiful!
