I have been here a couple times in the past but on this occasion came to see Dirty Dancing Live in early March. It’s located on the Penn State York campus. The volunteers/staff were all friendly. I know there is a little cafe downstairs but I’m not sure what they have or how much it is. I’m pretty sure there is no alcohol being served. The seats are mostly comfortable. Space between seats is enough to be comfortable with longer legs. The audio is good. For this specific performance the sound set up may have been different from a bigger band set up but that’s just a guess. Getting to the campus and parking was easy enough. Ticket prices were a little bit higher - these tickets were through Ticketmaster so there were higher fees involved. We had an overall good time.
This is a beautiful venue for small to mid-sized performances. Cozy, but not cramped, with excellent tiers of seating, ample bathrooms on each level, and parking all around the facility. Acoustics are solid, and the orchestra pit is a great opportunity to show children how music works in a live setting, The staff are friendly, and ticketing is quick to process.
This was my 1st visit to the Pullo Performing Art Center, and I was very impressed with the facility. I do prefer the old theaters, but the Pullo Center is a great theater. The sound is good, and seat layout allows all to see to show. Pictures are from George Michael tribute band. The show was fabulous.
We go here a couple of times a year to watch our granddaughter perform. The entire set up is great; comfortable seats, and temperature. The lighting and sound is outstanding. The result is a very professional presentation!
Recently attended a graduation ceremony here. The venue is gorgeous, the staff friendly, and the signage makes it easy to figure out where you’re going!
