Beautiful concert facility! Enjoyed the Charleston Symphony very much! Easy in & out with a convenient parking garage next door.
Amazing what they have done since the last time I was here 10/28/1994, Phish and "Waldo" show. Although I had an incredible show and was on the main floor way back when, it's a completely new feeling that even from the top level, beautiful sound and intimate feel. I think Trey was impressed too.
I can’t say enough about this incredible venue—it’s a true gem! Whether you’re attending a symphony or any other performance, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. The acoustics are simply outstanding, creating an immersive sound that brings every note to life. You’ll hear and feel the music in a way you didn’t think was possible. One of the most impressive aspects of this venue is that there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Whether you’re seated near the stage or further back, you’ll still have a fantastic view and exceptional sound quality. It’s a rare thing to find in a performance space, but they’ve truly mastered it here. The staff and volunteers also deserve recognition. They are consistently helpful, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone has a wonderful time. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and cared for. This is more than just a place for music—it’s an experience that every family should share. It’s the perfect opportunity to introduce your loved ones to the arts or enjoy a special night together. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and designed to make everyone feel at home. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to visit this venue. Whether you’re a long-time lover of the arts or new to it all, there’s something here for everyone. Bring your family, invite your friends—this is an experience you’ll be talking about long after the performance ends.
Beautiful and excellent venue for an important cause. It is a 5-6 min drive from my hotel, and 15 mins walk back. Such outstanding architecture when you walk up. I came here for 2 nights for the Lowcountry Jazz Festival in support of the Closing the Gap. First night was the All White Party which was a seat down dinner when live performances from 3 excellent jazz musicians (Art Sherrod, Ragan Whiteside, Lin Rountree) within the Grand Ballroom. The food and service, and the acoustics was 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. The second night was within the Performance Hall with performances by The Braxton Brothers, Marion Meadows and Alex Bugnon, and Samara Joy. They were ALL outstanding.
First time visiting! I went to see the Alvin Ailey dance company. The venue is beautiful! I appreciate that it has elevators too. I was in the upper gallery so had a full view of the stage. The venue was easy to locate and there was ample parking. I would come back for other performances.
