The Peabody Auditorium stands as Daytona Beach's premier performing arts venue, hosting an impressive range of entertainment from classical concerts and theatrical productions to contemporary comedy shows and rock performances. This versatile venue has become a cultural cornerstone for Florida's east coast, welcoming both touring acts and local productions across genres that span jazz ensembles, dance companies, musical theater, and everything in between.
Audiences consistently praise the venue's welcoming atmosphere and quality acoustics that serve both intimate jazz performances and energetic rock concerts equally well. The auditorium creates an engaging environment where every seat offers a good view of the stage, making it equally suited for a Broadway-style musical or a hard rock show. The venue's technical capabilities and professional staging ensure that whether you're attending a lecture, a soul music concert, or a comedy special, the production values enhance rather than distract from the performance.
Located in the heart of Daytona Beach, the Peabody Auditorium sits within easy reach of the area's dining and entertainment districts. The venue benefits from its central location, making it convenient for both locals and visitors exploring Florida's famous beach community. Arriving for an evening show, patrons often make it part of a broader night out, with nearby restaurants and the coastal atmosphere adding to the overall cultural experience.

Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

What an awesome place to see a show. Some very good artists play in this acoustically designed auditorium. Parking is plentiful and reasonable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The seats are comfortable and roomy for a standard size person. They serve alcohol, beer, wine and soda/water. They have candy and popcorn for your eating pleasure. Another great thing about the Peabody is the diversity of shows. Rock n roll, blues, classic rock, yacht rock and Tom Jones!! Some of the artists we have seen this year below. Plus they have comedy shows.
We went to the Peabody auditorium a few times this year… The last time we saw the Rock Orchestra just before Halloween. Great environment, good sound system and just an overall fun place to be when you want to do something different in Volusia county. Highly recommended.
The Rock Candlelight Orchestra was fabulous! It was exciting. The Orchestra was amazing. Absolutely loved the violinist, she rocked it! They all did.
I love attending shows here! They always feel so much more personal! The pictures were from the Rock Orchestra concert!!
Went here 9/19/25 for the Magic of Motown event. And the band and performers did not disappoint. They were all amazing and got the crowd moving and grooving. A time was had with all the boomers and their timeless, good feeling music. Parking was great for $10, they are no longer accepting cash as of August this year. I will always come back for a good show at the Peabody
