Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

I went here on 9/24 to see the Tom Keifer band & L.A. Guns. It was a great experience. The venue has a large marquee and it has a very polished and upscale vibe. The sound was top notch and the seats were quite comfortable. I am disabled and they have an ADA bathroom on the 1st floor which eliminates steps and was very accommodating for me. Although I am not wheelchair bound I have a very hard time navigating steps. I am looking forward to returning to this venue for shows in the future. It is a great addition to the downtown entertainment scene.
Great venue! A classic. It was incredible to see the history of this theatre! Well taken care of. Good views, from all seats. Kind helpful staff. Amazing show. We had an awesome time! 💥
Truly enjoyed the Jesse & Joy concert! Aug 2025. The Theater was very pretty and sitting and comfort was as expected. Very narrow seats if you are sitting in "the orchestra" sitting section. Satisfied in general and I got to take great pictures and videos.
I love this art deco style theater. I have seen Stavros and the High Plains Comedy Fest with Kyle Kinane in the past and sat in both the upper and lower sections. Both seats were great I could see and hear it all. This is definitely not a new theater but I appreciate the older style and deco flair. Bathrooms are in the basement so might not be ideal for those with physical accessibility limitations. They have a full bar and snacks which is priced pretty much in line with other venues. There are a lot of dining options nearby and parking was comped for us with tickets.
We had a great time coming here to watch a show. My daughter had bought us tickets to come and see Nurse John his Short Staffed Tour. He for one is hilarious. If you ever get the chance to see him in person I totally recommend that you do. There are plenty of different parking places downtown. I'm not one of those people that love going downtown, so we found parking closer to Speer. We actually parked in the Performing Arts Complex and walked to the Paramount Theater. It was only about 4-5 blocks away, which is like a 10-15 walk. There was nothing going on at the Performing Arts Complex so we didn't fight with traffic coming in or out and we were right near Speer. Which is convenient if you happen to want quick access to I-25. The Paramount Theater seats about 1,800 when full. It's pretty inside. The seats are comfortable and every seat seems to have a good view. We were seated 10 rows from the front right in the middle, which I would say is perfect for anything you want to see there. Getting into the theater was quick. There are several different doors that go down into the theater itself. There is a bar outside in the lobby area before you enter the theater. We ordered drinks there and didn't have to wait long at all. They had plenty of people working eventhough it was a sold-out show.
