Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

Always a great venue experience over all... BUT... Be prepared to bring a jacket if it's not an active show. I'm pretty sure most of us at The Wizard of Oz were convinced the HVAC was trying out for the upcoming FROZEN production!! I also don't understand the need to sell beer at a family show... but I guess it is a money maker :/ Trace Adkins show was great (FULL house of beer drinkers... the person in front of me made sure everyone knew it!) but I was a little disappointed in how they handled the medical emergency in that by the time they stopped the show, they DID NOT make ANY kind of announcement as to why NOR did they ask people to STAY SEATED... not even Trace Adkins knew for the first 4 minutes-- those of us sitting near the emergency situation were devastated for the individual and their family... people on the other side of the theater were confused and starting to leave (or just flat out act obnoxious without knowing the situation) -- so... hindsight being what it is... the next time there's a cardiac emergency at the Paramount? My hope is that they turn up the lights, stop the show and ask people to stay seated... the show will resume after the EMT's have SAFELY removed the concert-goer.
Great little venue! Excellent pricing. The venue is small and seating is close- the first few rows are literally movable chairs- however the cost of the ticket is competitive and the seats have excellent views no matter what seat you choose. This show wasn't sold out, which is sad given the proximity to Huntington and surrounding cities. We travelled a couple of hours, but I check the site for artists often. When we booked a hotel room, the lady wasn't aware of the concert. With the rich history of the beautiful theater and the emerging space downtown, this is a fun experience! Thanks for the fun evening! Buckcherry and Guns for Hire put on great shows!
I am very displeased and disappointed with my experience today. I had a confirmed appointment scheduled for 2:30 PM, and I made special plans around it. I traveled all the way from Phoenix, Arizona, not only to visit family but also to finally see this beautiful historic building that I’ve heard such wonderful things about. When I arrived, I was shocked to find the doors already closed at 2:00 PM — a full thirty minutes before my confirmed appointment time. I stood outside for over twenty minutes, hoping someone might come by or at least explain the situation, but no one did. It’s incredibly frustrating and unprofessional to confirm an appointment for a time after closing hours without any notice or correction. This visit was something I’d genuinely looked forward to, and it ended in complete disappointment. If appointments aren’t actually available at certain times, they should never be confirmed in the first place. This experience has left a very poor impression of what could have been a wonderful visit.
I've been enchanted from the first childhood visit to the Paramount. The atmosphere in this timeless grandeur has been preserved by some very dedicated and talented people and that makes me happy so many more generations can enjoy it. Always class act performances from past, present, future entertainers. Elegant and intimate venue. Prices are affordable for a fun night. I’d Recommend to anyone!!
I've always enjoyed concerts at the paramount. It's a wonderful historical venue. Great acoustics. My most recent visit was for the festival of trees. You just can't see it without leaving happy. Go visit this place & support them. It's a great wholesome activity to bring kids to.
