I saw the US Army band here and the acoustics and the beautiful setting are fantastic. Thank you all for restoring this… Bless the community for keeping this treasure alive.
Awesome show and awesome building. If you have a chance to check out a show here I'd definitely recommend it.
A beautifully restored theatre created in the 1920s, that went dormant, and then 20 years ago was brought back to its original magical appeal. All but one of the chandeliers are original. This elegant and captivating setting is a wonderful venue for an assortment of entertainment.
Very nice venue, not incredibly large, but not small either. Seemed to have good views from any seat. Lobby area is definitely crowded for sold out shows, but they had several places to get drinks, so the lines went pretty quick. Prices were pretty reasonable in comparison to other concerts I've attended.
I've been to the Orpheum a few times and have always greatly enjoyed the experience. The last performance I saw was the military's band and choir performance which was absolutely outstanding. The building is very spacious, especially the bathrooms. The ladies restroom is large with good lighting and large mirrors, plus the stalls actually have enough room to maneuver. The incline of the seat rows in the auditorium is pretty decent for seeing the stage. Would recommend. A heads up though: if you bring a bag it must be see-through or they will ask you not to bring it in.
