I have lived in Boise for over 30 years and have never been to the Morrison center. Tonight, I finally get to experience Twilight in concert at the center. The event center is beautiful and so big! We sat towards the back half of the event center and it was so nice being able to see the screen and stage. Regardless at how tall the person in front of me was, the staggering of the seats didn't block my view. I'm pretty sure no matter where you are sitting, it's still a great seat. There was a 20 minute intermission for the singer and band members to take a break. Of course we headed to concessions to grab a drink. It was nice how they had it set up. The line went really fast and guests were being helped at a great pace. We were able to get our goodies and head back to our seats pretty quickly. I know there are a lot of events that happen here. I need to be more proactive and see what they are. The venue is so pretty here. The seating is comfortable and nice. It was cool to have my first experience at the Morrison Center tonight. I look forward to coming back again soon for another one.
We went to the Morrison Center to see Screwtape Letters at 3 p.m. on 8/17/25. Parking was good, the staff friendly and the theater, beautiful. The production was disappointing due to the fact that it was very difficult to understand what the main actor was saying. He did not annunciate his words or speak clearly. If one hadn't previously read the book, I'm not sure they would have totally understood the play. The tickets were extremely pricey and I do not feel we got a good value.
Love coming here for Broadway Boise! We have amazing seats and the plays are always so wonderful. We've been here for several comedy shows as well. Just an overall great place
This is our second year as season ticket holders and we love it all. Wonderful experience. A shout out to Jacob at the box office too. He is so personable and always finds us the best seats when I call.
Wonderful campus venue for the performing arts. Approximately 2000 seats in stadium format with an upper mezzanine. Entrance is on the Boise River side. Parking is behind and is included with the ticket price. If you can make it to the ticket office you can probably score the best seats at the best price!
