Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

We went to the Cher show here at the Morris Performing Arts Center. The show was amazing. But to me the history of this building was even more amazing. Over 100 years old and restored to its original glory. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the center. They even upgraded our seats for free. Drinks and snacks were very reasonably priced. The center reminded me of seeing the old time opera houses in movies. Definitely going back here when they have an event I want to attend.
Visited Feb 22 2025 to see The Cher Show and it was excellent!! It was easy to access the theatre from parking in a garage across the street, easy to get inside and to find the seat, and the seat had a great view. The only downside is the seats are very tight, I'm a small person(under 150 lbs) and thought it was a squeeze to sit for 2.5 hours. But otherwise the theatre itself is very nice, sound and views were great!
Awesome experience. We got to see Kevin James aka Doug Heffernan and it was spectacular. Amazing staff that guided us to our seats and the cleanliness and design of the theater were breathtaking. Highly recommend you go here. The only problem I had was the parking and that I had to pay $10 for parking but I guess that’s a norm.
Great venue with plenty of capacity. Great location right downtown! Beautiful inside. Multiple concessions, bathrooms, exits. Loud speakers and lights everywhere. Steep steps and steep seating but provides a good view for the stage! Lots of older attendants that were a little too sassy and aggressive with telling people to put their phones away. My friend and I both got hit in the ear by the upper deck lady with glasses.
A very nice venue, ruined by rude staff. Want to feel like some sort of criminal? Wait no longer, just go to a show at the Morris and be greeted by extremely rude "safety" staff at the front door. The extremely uncomfortable seating also makes a few hour production feel like torture. If we were not $350+ into non refundable tickets we would have left before we actually made it in the door. Pretty much guaranteed, we won't be going back.
