Always great bands playing here. All the employees are friendly, entry lines move quickly and not a bad seat in the house. Concession prices are reasonable as well. We've seen many Christian Artists here and I love that they have so many that play here. Katy Nichole was absolutely amazing! What a great worship concert!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Neal McCoy concert! The only thing is that this is our 3rd concert there and the music overpowers the singers. I'm hoping they can fine-tune that by the next time we go.
It is a wonderful place. Just saw The Nutcracker on Tuesday night
No parking, terrible seats, shared arm rests, no room to move. You are constantly bumping the person next to you. Hard to actually enjoy what you're there for. Acoustics are good. Tiny entry way so nowhere to line up for merchandise at the one table they can fit in there. Super outdated.
From theater to ballet, rock and roll to country, you can see just about anything at the Civic Center! So many great shows and opportunities for Southern Illinois to experience the arts!
