Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

This is an old historic theater. The seats are a bit dated, but it is a good place to see a concert. I have been there a few times. The ticket prices for most of the shows seem to be moderate. There is free parking and few blocks away from the theater which is nice.
I always enjoy my visit to the UCPAC in Rahway. I especially am so grateful that they support Vets and First Responders. Always a great and entertaining time had. We just saw an opera show this Sunday, 05/18/25. Such great talent! Thank you, UCPAC!
This is a lovely little theater. Hopefully, the county and state support them well because they could use updated seats and carpets. I would definitely go back, but they need to address some bathroom issues. Having the hand towels far from the sinks created dangerous conditions. I saw a young girl with crutches almost take a dive. That’s a preventable lawsuit, is what that is.
Quaint historic center for intimate concert. Acoustic was quite good and roomy seats with good leg room. Free parking in lot behind Hamilton Stage building located a block away. Quite a few good restaurants across the street and also 5-10 minutes walk.
This is a very nice venue. The seating is comfortable and you have a great view of the stage no matter where you sit. The only thing is the entire lower part of the theater is on an incline. If you have knee issues, it can be a problem. But don't let that stop you from attending any events. We will definitely be going back again.
