Visited in October to attend Ledisi tribute to Dinah Washington. It was the first night of the promotion tour for her album tribute. Three man band and singer. Live music is so soothing. Performance had a few kinks in beginning but ended with a standing ovation. Ledisi looked beautiful and stylish dressed according to the theme. No pictures or recordings were allowed at this performance??? The band was awesome. Seating is comfortable with good views from any seat. Concessions were moderately priced. A seltzer drink, water and popcorn $15. I've paid more for less at other venues. Parking is sufficient, need more handicap parking although there was a dedicated lot with limited spaces. Ushers were courteous and helpful. Venue located nearby downtown Chandler, restaurants and highway.
It is a beautiful hall for performances. There isn't a bad seat. Acoustics are high quality, and the city of Chandler provides great shows at either free or cheap prices. Plus plenty of parking! Only problem is it is very close to some rougher parts of town.
I loved this place. Great service, beautiful theater. A bit far from my house but worth the trip to see the Brazilian singer @Caro Pierotto.
The ASU Symphony concert hast night was nothing short of spectacular. Over 80 musicians on stage in a flawless performance better than many city's symphony orchestras I've heard. Surprisingly varied and appealing program. Dr. Mikaela Hannon did a spectacular job on Carl Reinecke's Flute Concerto in D Major. James Galoway would have been proud. Joseph Haydn's Symphony in D Major was played with wonderful spirit. A 2022 composition by Ukranian composer Sergey Akhunov went straight to your heart and was a very tender and delicate rendering by the string section and Paul Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphosis was tremendous. The acoustics of the Chandler Center for the Arts proved to be a perfect venue for the group.
One of the best places to have cover bands. Ballet shows and during the holidays, the famous nutcracker. The staff is very kind, very nice. The place is almost immaculate, but I can say the concerts. There are usually one of a kind. This place is great.
