Perfectly situated across from the U Street Metro and near the vibrant bars and restaurants of 14th Street, the Lincoln Theatre is a true gem. Its cozy size ensures a great view from every seat. With a bar in the back, the whole place has a wonderfully nostalgic feel, transporting you back to its glorious old days.
Very cool old theater right across the street from the U Street Metro sop on the green line. Relaxed atmosphere, no specific dress code, several bar areas throughout. Fun venue for a comedy show. Parking is difficult, and the theater suggests public transportation. Also right next to Ben’s Chili Bowl.
Theater was coming well enough sound quality was great and stuff of solid. Saw Mark Norman could not stop laughing, there were a couple of hecklers in the crowd and security got him out pretty quickly well done
Best concert experience ever! My husband I went to see Stereophonics and had the VIP option. We got let in at 5:15pm on the dot, got to hear sound check and they let us leave something on our seats to "save" them. Obviously you leave whatever on your seat at your own risk because it's GA seating - but we ended up very close to the front and they gave signed posters. It was amazing! Will def look for another experience like this in the future
Funky theater great for live performances without stadium-sized crowds. Conceniently located directly across the street from a DC metro station (Green line).
