Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

This place is a mess! Went to see Hadestown and was excited since we always drive to Charleston to see Broadway shows. Waited in a crazy long line outside in the cold just to get in- so long that the show started 20 minutes late. Then, we couldn't even see around the people in front of us. We were in row K! The floor isn't sloped enough for everyone to see properly. Then, we parked in the garage across the street and couldn't get out forever. Just sitting still, not even moving. Everything just needs to be better for events.....
10 DOLLARS to hold my purse that YOU GUYS won’t let me bring in is ridiculous! Leave them in your car! Concert said it started at 7 but didn’t even get inside till 8 cuz the line was so long and it started an hour after it said. But there is $2 vending machines atleast
I had the chance to see My Morning Jacket and Umphrey’s McGee at Johnny Mercer Theater, and both shows were absolutely incredible. The sound quality was top-notch, and the venue’s atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience. My Morning Jacket’s performance was a perfect mix of raw energy and dreamy soundscapes, while Umphrey’s McGee brought their signature jam-heavy, improvisational brilliance that had the crowd fully engaged all night. Both nights were amazing, and I’d definitely come back for another show! 🎶🎸🔥
Watched Lauren Daigle, which was a great show. However, the venue refused to run the air conditioners in the theater and it had to be over 90 degrees due to the small venue. Got up to go get a cold water after the fourth song and the vendors had already shutdown. I settled for a soda out of the vending machine.
We saw Lee Brice last night. We arrived right at the time of the concert and parked one block away and paid a reasonable price. We waited about 2 min to get through a very friendly security area. We were escorted to our seats by a friendly and knowledgeable staff member. We sat on row 4 and the acoustics were great. It was the perfect setting for the You, Me and My Guitar Tour. Also, about the sound system... Lee had his own professional sound system so the house system was not in use. That's probably why it was so good.
