I recently rented one of the larger conference rooms at the Piedmont Grand Opera House to host a birthday party for my mother and I must say it was grand indeed. It was classically beautiful inside. Chas made sure everything was handled efficiently & Bea was so kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend contacting them for corporate and personal events or even just going for an experience hosted by them. You won’t regret it.
Yesterday was my first time attending a play/musical at the Grand Opera House Macon and I was absolutely blown away! The building has a vintage style with an amazing sound system! The musical ‘Pretty Woman’ was phenomenal from the costumes to the singing to the casting! Alcoholic beverages were available for purchase and the parking situation was trouble-free! I highly recommend supporting the arts and attending a show at this establishment! You won’t be disappointed!
Went to see a show called The Golden Girls. The Piedmont grand opera house facility offered clean restrooms and a bar which served alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Parking was only a short walk to get into the building. Great place to go watch a show
Lovely venue, small enough to feel intimate. There ARE some bad seats - be sure to check if your view will be obstructed. Acoustics are good, seats comfortable. Volunteer staff is very pleasant and hard-working! Enjoyed the evening with one exception: if you purchase a beverage from the concession other than water to take into the auditorium, you must also purchase a $10 "insulated" cup to put it in. I would not have selected a souvenir for myself with Piedmont on it. Pro tip: hydrate before you go.
Attended a one-day business meeting conducted in the auditorium for approximately 500 people. The seating and acoustics were great. Parking could be an issue depending upon the event attended at this venue.
