I attended the American Ballet and had a phenomenal experience. Comfortable seating and easy bathroom access, adult beverages and snacks available. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy taxi service. Pay attention to intermission return time. I have to add that the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful, especially the Usher Nancy who helped me find a bandaid.
Saw a performance of the Paul Taylor Company recently. The dancers were amazing as well as the orchestra. Bravo to all! Thank you Goddard Riverside Community for the tickets. It was a wondrous evening.
Destination for dance and ballet in NYC. You can often see Paul Taylor Dance Company, American Ballet Theater (ABT), or the New York City Ballet. Tons of history and one of the greatest ceilings in the city! It’s a real gem! 🤣
the first thing you will notice is just how gorgeous the theater is. it was my first time going and i was absolutely blown away with the interior. you will get a view with every seat you choose albeit the perspective will be different but i find that more interesting. i saw a midsummer night’s dream and will definitely be coming again to see more and hopefully with a different perspective.
A nice evening in NY, the building is a wonderful piece of architecture, the entree sculptures by Lee Bontecou are impressive and well integrated in the building. The staff was very friendly .
