Our kids had so much fun at the Gabby’s Dollhouse Live performance at the Straz Center! They had snacks and beverages for sale. The location is near the river walk, Glazer Children’s Museum, etc so we went to a playground after the show.
Water for Elephants was such a good musical. We always have a good time at the Straz Center. Balcony seats were very much worth the extra money. No one could walk in front of us, no one's head was in the way. Clear view of the stage.
The seats are well spaced. My legs weren't bumping the back of the seat in front of me. The acoustics are excellent. My ears are getting "older," but I could hear the actors and the orchestra clearly! Of course, the performance was spectacular, but if the theater hadn't been so beautiful, it would have been diminished by my surroundings. The staff made it an elegant evening for me and my family! Go! You'll love it!
Seen the Broadway Play The Wiz, which was Amazing! The venue was very nice and all staff I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful.
Nice theater for live performances. No Center isle, but multiple side exits. We saw a traveling Broadway musical there. We were near one side, but could see and hear everything. The bathrooms were clean and they helped manage them during busy times. Lots of hubs to purchase drinks and/or treats as well. There are several paid parking lots nearby .
