Great venue! They definitely know what they're doing. Parking was a breeze, signage was easy to follow to the venue and the scenery was fantastic for a venue of this size. Staff was helpful and the food/drink options were plentiful. Reserve lawn chairs ahead of time I saved at least 10 minutes waiting in line. Lawn is spacious with great views of the stage. Acoustics are great. Clean bathrooms too! Overall a great experience at a no nonsense/well run venue
Bethel Woods is truly a stunning and historic concert venue, nestled in a scenic setting that brings a special energy to any show. The sound quality was excellent, and the staff inside the venue seemed well-trained and efficient, especially when it came to accommodating guests with mobility challenges. We were impressed by how seamlessly they rearranged seating to make space for wheelchairs — it felt like a well-oiled machine in that regard. However, there are a few things to be aware of before planning your visit. The venue requires a considerable amount of walking from the parking areas to the entrance, which may be difficult for guests with limited mobility or for families with young children. We parked in a field and had to navigate through two separate parking lots, which was manageable but not clearly directed. Unfortunately, we also witnessed a vehicle stuck in a hole in the field, highlighting the need for better maintenance and more active guidance from parking staff. Our seats were in Section 10, Row B — great views, but our experience was marred by an unfortunate incident. Someone in the row ahead of us vomited, which splashed onto us and our 7-year-old. Rather than removing the disruptive group, staff relocated them to better seats up front. It was incredibly frustrating to deal with the smell of alcohol and the mess with a child in tow, and we felt this situation was mishandled. Overall, Bethel Woods has a lot of potential and charm, and for healthy, mobile adults and kids who don’t mind a long walk, it’s a beautiful place to enjoy live music. With a few improvements in parking management and guest response protocol, it could offer a top-tier concert experience.
Everyone here was very nice, the event was well organized, and I felt very safe. It didn't even take that long to exit the parking at the end of the show. The museum was also really nice, with paid and free exhibits. Pays to arrive early, but they move you through security quickly and ticketing is all electronic. Beautiful setting...I would definitely come see a show here again.
One of the best organized museums I have ever visited. Taking you through the decade before Woodstock, the back story of the music, the planning, and enveloping you in the whole experience. So much inside information and the guides were very knowledgeable and loved to share stories!
The Woodstock Bethel Center for the Arts is truly a gem! The moment you arrive, you're struck by the beauty of the grounds—peaceful, scenic, and thoughtfully maintained. The venue itself blends history, art, and nature in the most inspiring way. Whether you're attending a concert at the Pavilion, exploring the museum, or just soaking in the rich legacy of Woodstock, the entire experience feels magical. The staff is welcoming and professional, and everything is organized with care and attention to detail. The sound quality at the performances is outstanding, and the atmosphere is both relaxed and electric—a rare combination that makes every event feel special. It's not just a venue; it's a destination filled with culture, soul, and a deep sense of place. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area or looking to experience the arts in a truly iconic setting
